Initiation Safety Devices
One of our standard and self-developed products, ISDs are designed for motor safety and ignition. Our Ignition Safety Devices contain no explosive material, thereby reducing mechanical shock from the initiation event and so improving performance of end products. They are presented to market as an ITAR free design.
Features
- In-line electronic Initiation Safety Device (eISD) predominantly for the initiation of motors
- Uses a LEEFI-based electronic ignition system with the direct ignition of a pyrogen output pellet
- No primary explosives, compliance to IM in detonator designs with options to be removable or integrated
- Compliant with STANAG 4368, STANAG 4187, DEF STAN 07-85, DEF STAN 59-114 and MIL-STD 1901
